Teachers Capacity Building Discussion with EGL Expert Tahrima Maryam Organized by CLP
In today’s rapidly evolving educational environment, the need to actively engage students and foster interactive classrooms has never been more essential. To support this, CLP held an online Zoom session aimed at enhancing teachers' professional capacities. The discussion, led by Tahrima Maryam, a seasoned expert in Early Grade Learning (EGL), focused on the crucial theme of conducting interactive lessons and keeping students engaged.
The session brought together 20 teachers from various regions across Bangladesh, all eager to explore new approaches to improve their classroom dynamics. Tahrima Maryam offered valuable insights into effective teacher behaviors, understanding student psychology, and employing best practices for introducing new topics in the classroom. Her warm, practical approach made the exchange not only informative but also engaging, equipping teachers with creative strategies they can implement immediately.
Teachers actively participated throughout the session, sharing their own experiences and challenges, which led to a collaborative exchange of ideas tailored to the specific educational context of Bangladesh. This dialogue created a productive space where teachers could gain fresh perspectives and actionable solutions for their unique classroom situations.
By the end of the session, participants reported a noticeable improvement in their understanding of classroom management and teaching techniques. The online format made participation accessible, ensuring that this capacity-building initiative was not only convenient but highly effective in driving meaningful professional development.
