CLP, USA (formerly VAB-NJ) teamed with DNet, Bangladesh to empower underprivileged youth through ICT training and computer-aided education by implementing several innovative programs. We first introduced the Computer Literacy Center (CLC) model in Bangladesh in 2004 with a focus on training underprivileged rural youth on ICT skills. The CLC is a turnkey computer lab with a minimum of four computers (and Internet where available). We train teachers and also provide direct supervision and an active maintenance plan.
