A remote teaching enabled smart classroom was established on October 02, 2022 at Taiyebunnesa Sadharan Pathagar located in Monohardi, Narsingdi. In this very distant location, the library stands as the center for knowledge sharing. The remote teaching enabled smart classroom consists of 1 laptop, 1 50’ smart television, 1 webcam, 1 microphone and 1 HDMI cable.
This multimedia-equipped smart classroom will facilitate more collaborative and interactive learning among the learners and local people will be able to enhance their pursuit of knowledge by watching various educational and constructive videos in this smart classroom. Again, due to having internet connectivity in this newly established remote teaching enabled smart classroom, various expert teachers from the country and abroad will now be able to teach on various subjects which will play an important role in developing the youth society of this remote area.
Dnet's representative instructed a teacher about the CLP program so that the CLP activities could be effectively carried out. Dr. Habiba Khatun, a kind Bangladeshi presently residing in the USA, has extended her helping hand to uplift this community with the digital facilities.

CLP Bangladesh has established a Computer Literacy Center (CLC) at Darul Quran International Madrasah in Gowainghat, Sylhet, with support from Nur Ahmed, to expand digital education opportunities in rural communities. The madrasah, which has 225 students and 9 teachers, previously had limited ICT resources, restricting hands-on learning.
The new CLC is equipped with computers, internet connectivity, and essential devices, creating a dedicated space for practical digital learning. Through a structured 40-hour training program, around 80 students each year will gain foundational computer skills. Teachers are also receiving training to integrate technology into their teaching, ensuring sustainable and long-term impact.

AprilComputer Literacy Center and Smart Classroom Launched at Punduria Govt. Primary School, Pabna

CLP Bangladesh has inaugurated a Computer Literacy Center (CLC) and a Smart Classroom (SCR) at 36 No. Punduria Government Primary School in Santhia, Pabna, with support from Hironmoy Sikdar. A prior assessment revealed limited ICT resources despite over 800 students, prompting the initiative.
The CLC now provides computers, internet access, and a 40-hour training program for 30–50 students annually, while the SCR introduces smart technology to enhance classroom learning for around 150–200 students each year. Teacher training is also being provided to ensure effective use of these facilities.
This initiative aims to strengthen digital education and create long-term learning opportunities for students in the region.
