CLP–PI English Club Launches Remote Volunteering Opportunity for English Teaching

CLP USA and Progress through Innovation Society (PI) are inviting volunteers to join a remote English teaching initiative connecting international volunteers with secondary school students in rural Bangladesh.

Through the CLP-PI English Club, CLP USA and PI jointly run a year-long spoken English program designed to connect international volunteers with secondary school students through weekly virtual classes over Zoom.

As part of the program, volunteers will conduct one 40–50 minute online English class each week. Classes are scheduled for Saturday or Sunday evening in U.S. time, corresponding to 9:00–10:00 a.m. Bangladesh time. Volunteers are expected to be prepared, punctual, and communicate any schedule changes in advance.

Why Volunteer?

This opportunity allows volunteers to make a meaningful impact on the English learning of students in rural Bangladesh while developing their own teaching, leadership, and cross-cultural communication skills. It also provides valuable experience in an international education initiative and offers volunteers a volunteer certificate from CLP USA and PI upon participation in the program.
