History of the Center:

After the demise of renowned educationist Mr. Shamsuddin Ahmed, his family established the Shamsuddin-Nahar Trust to carry on his principles and values. The Shamsuddin-Nahar Trust has been operating a Youth Excellence Center to train and educate the poor and deprived students of the area. The Computer Literacy is one of the many educational programs that the center is supporting. The CLC was established in 2005 under the sponsorship of Shamsun Farooque, NJ, USA.

As of May 2014, total 671 students enrolled and 695 students successfully completed the course In 2015, the total number of batch 08 where 80 students have been graduated after receiving a successful training in Computer Literacy Center(CLC). As of May 2016 to April 2017, total 79 (47 girls) students enrolled and successfully completed the 40 hours course. As of May 2017 to April 2018, total 84 (44 girls) students enrolled and successfully completed the 40 hours course.
