Another Connect Students Around the world (CSAW) program held in collaboration with Uddipon Badar Shamsu Bidya Niketon (UBSBN) and William Annin Middle School (WAMS)

Another Connect Students Around the world (CSAW) program was held in collaboration with Uddipon Badar Shamsu Bidya Niketon (UBSBN) and William Annin Middle School (WAMS) on 30th May, 2022. CLP launched the CSAW program in 2017 to increase cultural communication and develop understanding among young people living in different parts of the world. UBSBN is placed in a distant area of Bagerhat district called Chitoli and WAMS is located in the US state of New Jersey, far away from Bangladesh.


The program was held for the second time between the two schools. Students from both schools introduced themselves sharing their hobbies, cultures, school life through Book Creator - an online platform for creating and sharing books.

After that, both school students participated in a live Zoom conference to get to know one another and address one other queries. Students and instructors expressed their desire for this program to continue in the future.

CLC Inaugurated at Darul Quran International Madrasah, Gowainghat, Sylhet

CLP Bangladesh has established a Computer Literacy Center (CLC) at Darul Quran International Madrasah in Gowainghat, Sylhet, with support from Nur Ahmed, to expand digital education opportunities in rural communities. The madrasah, which has 225 students and 9 teachers, previously had limited ICT resources, restricting hands-on learning.

The new CLC is equipped with computers, internet connectivity, and essential devices, creating a dedicated space for practical digital learning. Through a structured 40-hour training program, around 80 students each year will gain foundational computer skills. Teachers are also receiving training to integrate technology into their teaching, ensuring sustainable and long-term impact.

Computer Literacy Center and Smart Classroom Launched at Punduria Govt. Primary School, Pabna

CLP Bangladesh has inaugurated a Computer Literacy Center (CLC) and a Smart Classroom (SCR) at 36 No. Punduria Government Primary School in Santhia, Pabna, with support from Hironmoy Sikdar. A prior assessment revealed limited ICT resources despite over 800 students, prompting the initiative.

The CLC now provides computers, internet access, and a 40-hour training program for 30–50 students annually, while the SCR introduces smart technology to enhance classroom learning for around 150–200 students each year. Teacher training is also being provided to ensure effective use of these facilities.

This initiative aims to strengthen digital education and create long-term learning opportunities for students in the region.
